]]> Another wedding where it really didn’t feel like work at all… I’m lucky to have the job I do. I’m lucky to be able to work with cars I have loved since I was a child. I’m lucky to visit amazing venues each week and be a part of so many peoples special day.

Today Jenny and Matty got married.

Bettina beetle and Doris our VW campervan collected the bridal party from home to make our way to the breathtaking Ashton Memorial. We have covered countless weddings here and we NEVER get bored of returning! Dressed in lilac ribbons, our classic VWs complimented the bridesmaids dresses perfectly and their mega cool Doc Marten boots. Yes, you read that correctly; the bridesmaids all wore sparkly Doc Marten boots. How cool is that??!

We made a convoy to the Memorial, another venue there the service is always excellent. Whilst the ceremony took place, I took the opportunity to take in the views… it was a clear day and Morecambe Bay was clearly visible.

After the ceremony and making the most of Williamson Park’s grounds for photographs, we made the journey down the winding hill through the park to Lancaster Brewery. It was a crisp, sunny day and perfect weather for having the convertible roof down. Jenny and Matty sipped champagne whilst waving to well wishers through the park. Perfection.

A few more photographs outside the Brewery and we left the newly weds to continue with their celebrations.

]]> Oh we had the best time ever with these guys! Hannah and Rob chose Doris VW campervan and Bettina beetle for their barn styled wedding at the end of last Summer.

The bridal party were collected from Lancaster and we made a classic VW convoy to Park House Barn in Milnthorpe. The bridal party were a joy to chauffeur and the groomsmen were absolute gents.
Everyone thoroughly enjoyed being photographed with our stunning VWs.. we actutally didn’t want to leave!

This was our first time at Park House Barn and I would highly recommend both the venue and the superb staff who work there. Thank you for looking after us!

]]> We are blessed to have such beautiful countryside on our doorstep and today we got to drive in it! Heather and Rhys chose Dusty and Bettina for their wedding cars as we were delighted to oblige!

Dusty, our 1973 microbus deluxe campervan and Bettina, our 1974 Karmann convertible beetle looked stunning in ribbons and and bunting as they made their way through the Ribble Valley in Lancashire on a beautiful sunny day.

Dusty took the bridal party and Bettina took our bride Heather and her dad to St. John’s Church, Padiham for the ceremony. After the happy couple took their vows, we has a bottle of chilled fizz waiting for them to enjoy during their journey to the Inn at Whitewell for the reception. Our classic VWs look amazing in convoy and today was no exception.

The Inn at Whitewell provided the breathtaking background for the wedding photographs and group shots, before Dusty, Bettina and I left everyone to continue their celebrations in the sun.

]]> What a wonderful day Doris and I had on Saturday at Sarah and Leigh’s wedding. It was the hottest day of the year so far and there were big, big smiles all round.

Our bride Sarah and the bridal party were collected from The Roebuck Inn in the beautiful, quaint village of Mobberley in Cheshire and what a wonderful bridal party they were!

Doris and I escorted the girls to the wedding ceremony at Quarry Bank Mill. The crowds stopped and waved as Doris made her entrance with a yellow ribbon.

Sarah’s husband to be, Leigh and the wedding guests were waiting for our grand arrival. The venue was dressed in bunting and smiles!

After the ceremony, our bride and groom and their guests took a walking tour around the stunning grounds for time with family and friends and photographs.

The bridal party and groom then enjoyed a glass of fizz as Doris and I chauffered them back to Mobberley for the celebrations to begin.
