]]> It may be unseasonal weather at the moment, but we are definitely making the most of the sun. Bettina beetle has been pootling around the streets of Preston with her roof down, basking in the sunshine.

There’s nothing like a classic VW and it’s fair to say she pulls in the crowds wherever she goes and has to be one of the most photographed cars in Fulwood!

]]> Amy and Reece get married – in a classic VW campervan!

We were absolutely thrilled to be asked to provide the VW chauffeur hire, the mobile prosecco bar and the VW camper photobooth for Amy and Reece’s Tipi wedding in Bolton last weekend.

What a superb day and even the sun shone too.

Doris, Dusty and I collected the bridal party and drove them to the wedding ceremony in Westhoughton, Lancashire. After the nuptuals, we then drove everyone back to the reception on the farmland next to their family home in Bolton.

Dusty was set up as a mobile bar, serving guests prosecco as their welcome drinks.

When guests had been watered and they were getting fed, Dusty was then transformed into the coolest photobooth ever. She went down a storm and the wedding guests were superb fun and a pleasure to work with.

]]> Doris assumed a different role for Catherine and Phil’s wedding this Summer.

The wedding took place at the wonderful venue that is Knipe Hall, near Shap in Cumbria. Stunning views and a wonderful, peaceful location. Not to mention superb, attentive staff.

Doris was kitted out with vintage and retro fridges and cool boxes and we supplied the cones and tubs to serve ice creams as desert after the wedding breakfast. It’s fair to say Doris went down a storm!

Not only did our bride Catherine fall for Doris’ classic vintage look, but she also shared the same name as her late Nana, so it was a very fitting tribute too.

Bookings are now being taken for Doris, our VW split screen ice cream van!

]]> There were smiles and laughs all around us as Lee and Amanda married in Liverpool last weekend. Doris was the wedding car of their choice and she looked lovely dressed in cream ribbons.

We had 2 journeys from Bootle into Liverpool City centre for the ceremony at Liverpool Town Hall. Doris was a surprise for groom Lee and he literally jumped for joy as we pulled up outside the house to collect him.

Congratulations to you both, I can honestly say it was one of the best journeys I’ve ever driven!

]]> It was a rainy day, but that didn’t dampen our spirits at all!  Our VW splitscreen campervan Doris had the pleasure of driving Ziggi and her bridesmaids to marry Paul at Brockholes Nature Reserve in Preston, Lancashire.

The colour was Cadbury Purple and our super cool bride and groom looked amazing in their Rockabilly style wedding attire.

Brockholes Nature Reserve is a beautiful venue for any wedding or celebratory event.  The scenery is simply stunning – definately worth looking into if you are planning your wedding in Preston, Lancashire.
