]]> An amazing day for a truly amazing couple.. Dave and Jess became the new Mr and Mrs Sammons at All Saint’s Church, Higher Walton with the celebrations continuing at Brockholes Nature Reserve, Preston. Our camper vans Doris and Dusty were on wedding duty, dressed in cream bows and ribbons, with cream rose arrangements on the wedding cars too.

Lovely to be back at one of our favourite venues and thrilled to share such a day with such a couple. Thank you : )

]]> The Summer of love continued with Claire and Dan marrying at Houghton Tower and choosing Doris as one of their VW wedding cars, teaming up with a couple of classic VW beetles!

Houghton Tower is a superb, majestic venue with the most amazing scenery. Doris was dressed white ribbons, with vintage picnic baskets and suitcases dressing her for the occasion! Our bride and groom looked stunning and the wedding party were a joy to chauffeur.

]]> We had 4 seasons in one day for Nikki and Martin’s wedding but the sun shone when we needed it to!

The bridal party were collected from Forest View Holiday Park and chauffeured to Christ Church, Douglas in Parbold for the ceremony. Navy blue was the accent colour and Doris looked stunning as she matched the bridesmaids, dressed with navy blue ribbons.

After the ceremony, glass of fizz in hand, Nikki and Martin settled in Doris for the next leg of their journey. As it turns out, there was a nasty hold up on the M6 and our journey to Salmesbury Hall was set to take nearly 2 hours! A bit of quick thinking from Doris and myself and a quick check on the map and we took a leisurely journey on the A roads, breezing up in just over 30 minutes.

As usual, Salmesbury Hall looked stunning and the wonderful staff were waiting at the door to give our bride and groom a well deserved, warm welcome.

]]> We were lucky enough to be a part of Jeni-Lee and Michael’s amazing wedding at Samlesbury Hall near Preston in December. Not only did we provide the wedding transport, but also the evening entertainment when we had our camperbooth in action.

Doris drive our beautiful bride and ner parents from their home in Mawdesley, Lancashire to the amazing Samlesbury Hall to the ceremony late afternoon.  When we arrived, the guests were waiting in a candle lit room with a roaring log fire.  The setting couldn’t have been any more perfect.

After the ceremony, Doris was backlit in front of the venue for some photographs.  The dark evening made the atmosphere intense, the photographs were amazing!

It was a quick nip back to Chase the Sun HQ where Dusty was waiting with all our camper booth equipment and we headed back to Samlesbury Hall to set up for the evening.

Weddings manager Angela was a superb host, we had a great spot outside right next to the Hog Roast.  What a pitch!

It was back to back fun and laughter in the camper booth and the guests were superb fun.  As well as an online gallery of images, we printed out photographs for all guests so they had a wonderful memento of the night.
