Today Jenny and Matty got married.

Bettina beetle and Doris our VW campervan collected the bridal party from home to make our way to the breathtaking Ashton Memorial. We have covered countless weddings here and we NEVER get bored of returning! Dressed in lilac ribbons, our classic VWs complimented the bridesmaids dresses perfectly and their mega cool Doc Marten boots. Yes, you read that correctly; the bridesmaids all wore sparkly Doc Marten boots. How cool is that??!

We made a convoy to the Memorial, another venue there the service is always excellent. Whilst the ceremony took place, I took the opportunity to take in the views… it was a clear day and Morecambe Bay was clearly visible.

After the ceremony and making the most of Williamson Park’s grounds for photographs, we made the journey down the winding hill through the park to Lancaster Brewery. It was a crisp, sunny day and perfect weather for having the convertible roof down. Jenny and Matty sipped champagne whilst waving to well wishers through the park. Perfection.

A few more photographs outside the Brewery and we left the newly weds to continue with their celebrations.

The bridal party were collected from Lancaster and we made a classic VW convoy to Park House Barn in Milnthorpe. The bridal party were a joy to chauffeur and the groomsmen were absolute gents.
Everyone thoroughly enjoyed being photographed with our stunning VWs.. we actutally didn’t want to leave!

This was our first time at Park House Barn and I would highly recommend both the venue and the superb staff who work there. Thank you for looking after us!

Doris was dressed in navy blue ribbons and there was a selection of chilled beers for the groomsmen to enjoy during their journey. After dropping the gents off, Doris waited until after the ceremony for group photographs.

Houghton Tower is a superb, majestic venue with the most amazing scenery. Doris was dressed white ribbons, with vintage picnic baskets and suitcases dressing her for the occasion! Our bride and groom looked stunning and the wedding party were a joy to chauffeur.

The bridal party were collected from Forest View Holiday Park and chauffeured to Christ Church, Douglas in Parbold for the ceremony. Navy blue was the accent colour and Doris looked stunning as she matched the bridesmaids, dressed with navy blue ribbons.

After the ceremony, glass of fizz in hand, Nikki and Martin settled in Doris for the next leg of their journey. As it turns out, there was a nasty hold up on the M6 and our journey to Salmesbury Hall was set to take nearly 2 hours! A bit of quick thinking from Doris and myself and a quick check on the map and we took a leisurely journey on the A roads, breezing up in just over 30 minutes.

As usual, Salmesbury Hall looked stunning and the wonderful staff were waiting at the door to give our bride and groom a well deserved, warm welcome.
